Meet the the shame slayer

A woman with red hair wearing a bright pink suit jacket and shorts, a black lace bra with colorful embroidery, lace-up boots, and gold chains, leaning on an empty white metal chair outdoors, in front of a modern building with purple and pink accents.

I’m Alisa a Somatica Institute-trained sex, kink and intimacy coach, educator, and facilitator based in Fairfax, VA.

I’m queer, kinky, ENM and shame-free.

My work bridges psychology, somatics, conscious kink, shadow work, attachment work and lived experience. I support individuals in de-shaming desire, navigating power dynamics, and creating relationships that feel embodied, attuned, and alive.

Our bodies have always spoken to us. They tell us what kinds of feelings and experiences we want when we move toward sex or intimacy. They signal when a boundary has been crossed and whether we want to move toward something with awe and curiosity or away from something that could cause harm.

At the same time, the modern world, especially Western culture, has taught us to become removed from our bodies. We’re conditioned to prioritize logic, productivity, and cognition over body-based knowing. I name that context because my work is fundamentally about guiding clients back into their bodies so they can reclaim true sovereignty.
